Traditional Vietnamese Kung Fu
As a member of a Vietnamese Kung Fu sports club, I participated to a demonstration on the 21st of June. Since I’m not really an expert, I spent most of my time shooting photos instead of demonstrating. Here is the result of my Kung Fu (in the sense of hard work and skill in photography, not in martial arts…).
The exact martial arts denomination is Võ-Đạo-Việt-Nam (don’t be scared by the accents…). It is a traditional Vietnamese Martial Art founded in 1923 in Saigon, Vietnam. Grandmaster Nguyen Chi Ky brought Võ-Đạo-Việt-Nam to Germany in 1983. Since then, the school has spread over various locations, where the trainings are led by Master-students under the supervision of Grandmaster Chi Ky.
